Busy Busy Busy

Whew!!
Past weeks were up the brim, can't believe that the only thing i did on the comp was responding to mails. Couldn't even catch a glimpse of those geek sites nor the updates on whats happening on planet earth.
Anyways this is whats hapening on planet my blogs ;) .

Brought up a new blog with a new vibe, the vibe is travelling around Zanzibar and its isles. Apart from parties i do also at timez hang around kool area's to adore the beauty of mother nature and lounge at scenic area's with crowds but no parties, these are places where you go for a hooka or lets say hubbly bubbly and chilled drinks.

Too much out of the topic blah blah, lets get back to the real stuff "Party Time". It all started with a plan to go for a bike tour of the island, in getting from south, east, north and ending up west of Zanizbar, with a good friend and colleauge of mine.
Days where counting and our adrenaline's where pumping, getting excited as the hour glass trickled. But as usual bud luck struck too bad, the trip had to be re-scheduled twice during the week and atlast it was too much of a hassle to get the whole thing done.
Saturday was here and we were on full fun mode or down here we call "Full Power !!". Now what do we do ?, the big question. No party going on, Zamani Beach Party is only till 8th of september. Where to go what to do, started going through the green pages of my diary hoping to find a place that will be live this saturday and BINGO we got it.

It was coral reef beach resort in kiwengwa. Now started questions, is it good?, what do they have? who's playing ? and loads of ???????.
We were game for it and at this point we really didn't care of the consequences. So dished up and drove down to the Coral Reef, boy the folks where haven "Karoke Night". Man it was fun, you could see all sorts of Kiwengwa Idols down there ;). I sing like a donald d, but with having the gang to sing along with, it was fantastic i say.
Had some drinks down there and figured it was time to get back home, get ready for our next trip.

The next trip was Zanzi Tour (North -> West). Check out ZanziTraveller for complete info on this tour, all i can say you will be excited ;) !!!.

Update ! Update!

Wow, this weekend was a something. Sorry folks couldn't update you the latest, okay this is what happened from Friday to Sunday.

Had a sunset watch, while munching down the delicious Mohamed Ali pizza at the Mcheza bar, jumped to the Dharma lounge for some atmosphere and closed my day with a good night sleep.
Come Saturday, woke up with just the right adrenaline. It was Zamani Beach Party day , couldn't think of anything else more then hoping the day to colapse to 7:30 pm.
Time closed by; got back, dressed up ready to leave and there came rain. Ohh man this made me fall to my feet. But hey its a beach party and whats is a beach party without showers of rain, am mean when do you really get to party with the fun of dancing in the rain. I used to love it when i was a kid and still love it, can't hide the kid in me; especially at party times.
Drove down to Kiwengwa hoping the Zanzibar beach party turns out really good and i don't feel ripped off . Boy to my suprise this party rocked, wowow the place was packed, the DJ's were well prepared for the crowd. Food and Drinks as usual were wallet friendly saved alot on return gas i can say ;) .
I didn't even realize that it was already 5:45 am. Going back to town would make me reach after sunset and i don't really sleep with the sun up, so tested the double advantage of the Zanzibar beach party "good party, affordable rates at the Zamani Zanzibar Kempinski, Hotel". So i got a room, the first thing was dive in bed and wish my self good dark morning sleep, slept like a baby. Woke up at 10, it was time for breakfast at The Cloves , and when i say breakfast i really mean that extensive choice breakfast buffet, where you spoil yourself on that exclusive sunday morning :) .
Still with my party hangover's, booked my self a "Soul Revival" massage at the Anantara SPA.
Now totaly a new person, drove of to stone town, directly headed for the forodhani gardens. Got my self into the aroma of flared snack's and without forgetting the famous legendary Zanzibar Pizza

I stop here for the day.

Whats Cooking !!

Alright i got to sneak peek through what's cooking at the Zanzibar Beach Party. Boy am i excited, a mean this chaps at the Zamani Zanzibar Kempinski Hotel are really into entertaining people.
This time they have 3 DJ's featuring on the same night and lucky me its again a Ladies Free night !!.
Wow !!!! what more does one want, 3 DJ's, Ladies night Free, wallet friendly prices, perfect arena, loads of beach space to chill, yummy food can't just stop writing.

So the hot gets hotter;
Sync your calender's with mine and get the best of em all
This Friday time to catch that sunset at Mcheza Bar and get some rounders at the Dharma Lounge.

Saturday night drive down to Kiwengwa not to miss the Zanzibar Beach Party

Sunday spoil my self to the choice breakfast buffet at the Cloves restaurant of Zamani Zanzibar Kempinski. Leisure as usual 10:30 AM its SPA time at the Anatara SPA
With a pleasant blend of Arabica from beit el chai, i plan to end my day at the Forodhani gardens with the flares of freshly cooked snacks.

14th July

Yap it was the 14th of July 2007, when Zanzibar was rocking with parties all over. There was a musical event at the Old Fort around the gardens of Forodhani.
A suprise beach party up in the North to budget the crowd from travelling down. And again the Zanzibar Beach Party at the Zamani Beach Club hosted by Zamani Zanzibar Kempinski, Hotel.
Me this time was around the clock at the Zamani Beach Party, i wish i knew of the North, but suprise, suprise. So what happened at the Zamani Beach Club ?????

I need a whole new line to mention this, as usual the place was secured by the Viva La Rasta Team. A whole new menu of Beef Mishkaki, Potato Crisps, Salad's and without forgetting the yummy beef burgers that always keep me going back and go mouth watering when the dates of the party gets closer.
The crowd was a mix of just everybody. And for guys it was a Ladies free night!!!, anh anh ;) ,i wish they do it again. The party was shaked by one of Dar's favourite DJ. Was suprised with the talent of this chap, namely DJ Rico. Dj Rico was driving the crowd with music that none could resist dancing.
Truly at first hearing the change of DJ's turned alot down, but there was no missing of anybody as the music just fitted in right.
I believe the Zamani Crew are targeting at a more balanced ground by giving opp's to other players to show their talents and ensuring the crowd is always caught by suprise with the best and never the same playlist.

Watch out for my next post, got some insider "whats cooking at the Zanzibar Beach Party" info to share. But sorry can't post juicy medium have to wait for well done spicy information.
